google+ local optimization

Just like the calm before the storm, it is eerily quiet in the world of Google Places. Well, except for all the review issues, category bugs, and service area business listings being terminated as if The Governator were in town. But seriously, it is a little quiet. Even the issue with reviews has seen less and less feedback from Google. Something must be up.

Since the initial push that saw Google Places listings switched over to Google+ Local not a whole lot else has been said or done. It seems like it’s been a long time since Google has made a major update.

It feels like the long awaited phase two of the Google Places transition to Google+ is just around the corner. All signs point to yes. We are doing everything in our power to be ready for this change. Will you be ready?
